April Prayer Points
As we look forward, we praise God for a new season:
‘We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.’ Heb 6:19
Give thanks for the season that is ending – for all those who have faithfully,
honourably and generously served God at QP and helped us to lift God’s
name high in this place – give thanks especially for David, Connie, and Ann,
who are not putting their names forward again for the diaconate
Pray for the ACM – for members to be open to the Holy Spirit’s guidance as
they vote. That God’s will be done.
Pray for the new leadership team – for God’s blessing on them as they form a
new diaconate; for wisdom and humility to serve; for a unity that is focused on
Jesus
Give thanks for what God has planned for us at QP
Pray for Danny and Kate and family as they transition in stages (pray for a
school place for Trinity)
Pray that we would all be open to change, whatever that looks like, so we
follow where God leads us
Pray for those who are bereaved, unwell, anxious about the future – that the
hope of Christ would be an anchor for them.
Pray for our young people approaching tests and exams in the coming term
Ways to Pray:
On your own
We know it isn’t always possible to join together, but when we can’t be together ‘in body’, we can still be praying together ‘in spirit’. Please use the prayer points above, and the prayer times below to pray with us.
Prayer partners/triplets
Is there someone you could meet with or pray on the phone with? Prayer walks – on your own, or with others. Pray for God’s blessing on the area and that he would show us how we can serve him here..
Opportunities to pray together:
Sundays 10am in room 7 in the hall
Praise and prayer – Monday 8th April 7pm-8pm In praying together: -
We invite a greater awareness of the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. -
We encourage one another, and our faith rises. -
We learn to let go of seeking our own purposes and start to open ourselves up to what God wants

Whatever/however/whenever you pray, please share with the diaconate any thoughts/insights/pictures/words of encouragement. There is a book available at the front of church to gather any thoughts, pictures, or visions (please ask if you can’t find it). In praying together, we invite a greater awareness of the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. We encourage one another, and our faith rises. We learn to let go of seeking our own purposes and start to open ourselves up to what God wants.
