 PRAYER LIFE AT QUINTON PARK

Many people find comfort within prayer.

We encourage our congregation to pray regularly for the people and life of Quinton Park and the local community.

Prayer Points July 2025

“Blurred Vision”

Spend time prayerfully reflecting on these verses,

be open to the Spirit and what God may be saying to you.

“For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus, and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.” Ephesians 1: 15-17

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see……

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.” Hebrews 11:1&8

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path……

Accept, O Lord, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws”

Psalm 119: 105&108

Ways to Pray:

On your own

We know it isn’t always possible to join together, but when we can’t be together ‘in body’, we can still be praying together ‘in spirit’. Please use the prayer points above, and the prayer times below to pray with us.

Prayer partners/triplets

Is there someone you could meet with or pray on the phone with? Prayer walks – on your own, or with others. Pray for God’s blessing on the area and that he would show us how we can serve him here..

We invite a greater awareness of the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. -

We encourage one another, and our faith rises.

We learn to let go of seeking our own purposes and start to open ourselves up to what God wants

Whatever/however/whenever you pray, please share with the diaconate any thoughts/insights/pictures/words of encouragement. There is a book available at the front of church to gather any thoughts, pictures, or visions (please ask if you can’t find it). In praying together, we invite a greater awareness of the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. We encourage one another, and our faith rises. We learn to let go of seeking our own purposes and start to open ourselves up to what God wants.
