WHY GO TO CHURCH?

You don’t have to go to church to be a Christian do you?
Well no you don’t but it’s not very easy worshipping, praying, learning and following Jesus all on your own!
That’s one of the reasons why Jesus chose 12 disciples so that they could support and encourage one another as they
tried to follow him and share his life with others.
Of course when most people think about the church they think of buildings. However the church began not with buildings
but with people. Perhaps that’s why the Bible likens the church to a family a way of thinking about the church that is
key for us.
It is why you will find people from all walks of life, nationality and age amongst us. We also recognise that we are
part of the wider Christian church and are members of the 'South Coventry' group of churches and the
Baptist Union of Great Britain
