SEEKERS (Children & Young People) The Church has a child protection policy which includes all leaders being checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). On a Sunday morning the children start off in church for about 20 minutes. They then leave church and join their Seekers Groups. Our creche is for the under 3's. It is a safe placec to leave your child, enabling you to enjoy the rest of the service. Sparklers is the next group up and caters for the 3-7 year olds. Denise co-ordinates the Sparklers and we have a number of helpers who are on a rota and who continually make the Sparklers time together creative and fun as they begin to learn about Jesus and his amazing love for them. Trailblazers is the group for the 7-11 year olds and is run by Angie and Esther who both encourage the children to read their bibles and to pray for others and the world around them. The children are really 'going for God' in a big way and have really let Jesus into their lives. Trailblazers is always a fun time, with a variety of activities to allow the children to seek more about God's word and his love. Lasers (or Looney Lasers as they like to be called!) is run by Ralf, Kay and Jackie and is for the 11-14 year olds. The young people in this group are already well on in their spiritual journey and are eager to find out more. They are encouraged to read their bibles and to pray, not just on a Sunday but throughout the week too. Call or email for further details.
