REDEVELOPMENT UPDATE
(June 2010)

It is good to report that the building work is progressing very well. A short delay with the delivery of the roof has put our build slightly behind
schedule, but we expect the work on the roof over the office suite to start very soon.
Once that is complete we should be ready to start the plaster boarding of the walls and ceilings, then complete the electrics, lay some flooring and
floor covering and we are nearly there with our offices ….. thanks to a great deal of work by Barry C and Ralf and their small band of fellow workers.
We will then be ready to turn our attentions to the work required on the ‘new new hall’!
Funding is still being sought from several areas including WREN, Community Sustainable Energy Programme, EON Sustainable Energy Fund, Tudor Trust,
William Cadbury Charitable Trust, Congregational and General Charitable Trust…… watch this space.
The good news is we have enough money to finish the basic build – which means the shell i.e. roof, windows and brick walls, no flooring, heating,
internal doors etc..
Thanks for your support over the past years and please continue through to the completion of the vision.
Please feel free to see Barry C, Bryan G, Geoff B, Ralf M or myself and ask any questions you may have.

Alan Schofield, on behalf of the Project Team.

Redevelopment Prayers
Some of you may have heard about Barry Cocks being asked if there was a particular prayer request he had as people are already praying for the funding.
He asked for plasterers and praise the Lord they have been provided.
I would ask you therefore to take time to ask the project team – Barry Cocks, Alan Schofield, Bryan Green, Geoff Birch and Ralf Meininger – for their
specific requests.
As things are moving on a pace, perhaps we can spend time quietly listening to God for His vision for the completed building, through meditation and
studying His word.
Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Ps 127
Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your love, for your faithfulness! Ps 115
